Chris Froome

Chris Froome is one of the most dominant legendary riders in the history of road cycling. Born in Kenya and holding British nationality, this athlete has written numerous milestone achievements on the professional stage with his precise tactical acumen, exceptional climbing endurance, and unrivaled dominance in the Grand Tours.
At the peak of his career, Froome created a rare "Grand Slam legend" in cycling — he is one of only seven riders in history to win the overall championships of the three Grand Tours: the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España. Among them, he claimed the Tour de France title four times (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017), achieved the feat of winning both the Tour de France and Vuelta a España consecutively in 2017, and secured the Giro d'Italia championship in 2018 with a classic comeback by breaking away for 80 kilometers in a single stage. His extraordinary performances defined an "era of Froome." Renowned for data-driven precision in his racing style, his average power output exceeding 400 watts during climbing stages and rigorous tactical execution made him an "undefeated symbol" in mountain stages.
Beyond his Grand Tour glory, Froome also won two Olympic bronze medals in road cycling individual time trials, three titles at top warm-up events such as the Critérium du Dauphiné, was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE), and was nominated multiple times for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year. During a critical period of rebuilding cycling's credibility, his sustained peak performances greatly boosted global attention to road cycling, and his competitive philosophy of "technology + endurance" became a model for modern sports training.
